Bima Sakti Bali Car Rental Term and Conditions
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before proceeding with your rental. By confirming your booking and accepting delivery of the vehicle, you acknowledge and agree to abide by all the rules and policies outlined below.
- Usage Area:
The vehicle is only permitted for use within the island of Bali, Indonesia. Transporting the vehicle outside Bali (e.g. via Gilimanuk or Padangbai ports) is strictly prohibited without prior written approval from the company. Violation of this rule will result in a fine of up to IDR 10,000,000.
- Required Documents
The renter must present the following documents at the time of vehicle handover and contract signing:
- Copy of the passport
- A valid driving license (foreigners must hold an International Driving Permit) - Vehicle Use
The vehicle must only be operated on paved public roads. The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Driving on beaches or sandy areas Racing, drifting, or reckless driving
- Off-road driving (e.g. mountains, dirt roads)
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Allowing unauthorized individuals to operate the vehicle
- Violating traffic laws or endangering the vehicle
The renter is fully responsible for any damage or penalty resulting from misuse. - Fuel Policy
The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time of delivery. Any shortage will be charged based on the actual refueling cost.
- Late Return
Our rental is based on a 24-hour period with a 30-minute grace period. A 10% surcharge of the daily rental rate per hour will be applied for late returns, even if prior notice is given. If the delay exceeds six (6) hours, it will be considered as one additional rental day.
- Cancellation Policy
- If the vehicle has been used for more than 24 hours: 50% of the total rental fee will be charged.
- If cancelled within 24 hours of pickup or in case of a no-show: 100% of the rental fee will be charged. - Damage & Insurance Policy
All vehicles are covered by basic rental insurance, which applies only to the rental vehicle itself
- Minor damage (e.g. small dents or scratches): IDR 400,000 per spot (flat fee).
- Major damage: The renter’s maximum liability is capped at IDR 15,000,000 per rental. Any repair costs exceeding IDR 15,000,000 will be covered by insurance.
- Optional Upgrade: For an additional IDR 200,000 per day, renters may reduce their liability cap to zero (full protection). This option is available only for rentals of 3 days or longer.
- Third-Party Exclusion: Please note that both the basic insurance and the optional upgrade do not cover third-party vehicles, property, or personal injury. - Breakdown & Accident Procedure
In the event of an accident, damage, or mechanical breakdown, the renter must immediately contact our hotline or customer service for assistance. Unauthorized repairs or modifications are strictly prohibited. Any repairs or handling without company approval will be the renter’s responsibility.
- Traffic Fines & Violations
All traffic fines, parking tickets, and violations (including towing fees) incurred during the rental period are the full responsibility of the renter. The company is not liable for any fines or legal consequences arising from traffic violations committed by the renter.
- Service Charges and Government Taxes
All prices are inclusive of service charges and government taxes.
